Mobile Application Wave

1) By 2015, there is expected to be 20 times more mobile data and 40 times more mobile transaction spending, with mobile online shopping expected to rise to $119 billion by 2015, according to ABI Research.

2) by 2012 there is expected to be nearly one trillion Internet-connected devices, and 143,000 cell phone towers in the US alone that need to be managed and maintained.


3) Some of the most promising market/revenue opportunities in this space are in faster-growing economies such as India and China — where mobile phones, not PCs — are already the most common devices used to access the Internet and conduct commerce.
